A shortened show due to the Bison Football game (pre-game at 7:45, kickoff at 8pm) but I still managed to get two guests into the studio. The Smith brothers from The Perms came in with a copy of their brand new album, Sofia Nights, which we discussed and debuted tracks from (CD release show is Friday, October 14th at the Park Theatre). We also had an awesome live session with the guys from Sun Wizard. They were in town to open for the Pack a.d. at the LO Pub and banged out some live demos of unreleased material (in the meantime, pick up a copy of their excellent album, Positively 4th Avenue).

Sun Wizard Sick Of Waiting Positively 4th Avenue
On tomorrow's show, we're back to a full hour-and-a-half and it's chock full of goodness. An interview with Dam-Funk who blew the lid off the Pyramid during the Jazz Winnipeg Festival and who is back on Monday October 10th, this time with his full band.
